This is a team project at Production Company II class - we were tasked to create a learning application. We developed a website to teach beginners the basics of coffee. I designed the visual identity for our brand.

I drew inspirations from a collection of rustic and vintage graphics with a handcrafted aesthetic.
We aimed to create an online space where coffee beginners can easily learn the basics of brewing, emphasizing the nostalgia and craftsmanship associated with hand-drip coffee.
We wanted to create a calming and warm ambiance with beige and cream.
Dark green and orange serve as the main colours for text and illustrations, while pink highlights smaller elements like buttons and CTAs, adding interest to the website.
We use a serif that is reminiscent of those found on old-fashioned packaging and signage; and a sans-serif for readability on website.
A set of illustrations and iconography that has a textured appearance, with a focus on detailed line work and stippling techniques.
Completion badges will be shown after the quizzes to celebrate knowledge.
Unlike most modern websites that scroll vertically, we went for a classic learning approach. We split the content into parts and used slides to present the learning material. There is a mini quiz at the end of each module.
